About Us
Joramco Academy is an independent educational institution dedicated to delivering a unique and integrated learning experience that prepares students for successful careers in aircraft maintenance engineering. The academy offers the only hybrid program in Jordan program that combines two years of comprehensive academic learning with two years of practical experience in a real world environment at Joramco facilities.
This EASA/CARC-approved program, aligned with Part 147/66 standards, qualifies students for licensing in the B1 and B2 categories (Turbine Engine Aeroplane and Avionics). As the only program in Jordan that fulfills both the theoretical and practical requirements for EASA and CARC basic licensing, it offers employment opportunities at Joramco upon graduation and enhances career prospects across the global aviation industry, meeting major job market demand in Jordan and the region for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.
Accredited by CARC and EASA, the academy also partners with FSTC EUROPE to offer Level 3 type rating courses and structured on-the-job training (SOJT). Additionally, Joramco Academy offers another program in collaboration with the University of Jordan, offering a joint bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering aligned with B1.1 licensing requirements. This program supports national efforts to reduce unemployment and empower youth through high-quality, career-focused education.
Joramco Academy’s facility is designed to global education standards, spanning over 5,000 square meters of new construction and accommodating up to 300 students. It houses 10 modern classrooms, shops, utilities, as well as an aircraft hangar and ramp area. The inclusion of hands-on training spaces, such as specialized technical workshops and aircraft hangars, reflects the academy’s commitment to providing comprehensive practical experience. Through these facilities, Joramco aims to support academic excellence and student well-being, ensuring a thorough and enriching educational experience. Moreover, a B737 aircraft serves as a valuable training tool, providing students with a hands-on learning experience.

With more than six decades of experience, Joramco has built a sound track record as a leading independent commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility serving a wide range of customers in the Middle East, Europe, South Asia, Africa, and the CIS countries, offering services on several aircraft models from the Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer fleets.
Joramco facility consists of 5 wide body state-of-the-art hangars that can accommodate up to 22 wide & narrow body aircraft with expansion plans currently in progress.
Our hangars are supported by 10 workshops specialized in the repair and overhaul of over 400 product lines, in addition to a full range of specialized services through which more than 5000 components are processed through our shops throughout the year.
